[QUOTE="Domobomb"]Thing is... The 8000:1 contrast ratio and 2ms response time seems a bit inflated. Too good to be true sort of deal.Is there anything better around this price range?

it is too good to be rule those are dynamic contrast not the real contrast
What is the difference between DC and RC?

better rc doesn't need to tint the screen to make the black look better as for dc they are not real figures they say 8000.1 but it's not really 8000.1 they are just marketing scams

I am not sure why most people seem to hate TN pannels and are they same as LCD-TFT monitors?ISuperGamerI
Monitors are way more confusing than any other kind of hardware that's for sure :P

I hope this clears up some confusion :)
My personal biggest woe with TN's is the viewing angle. If only they could be much better then I would live with the colours and backlight bleeding.Spybot_9
The only time the viewing angel is a problem for me is when I'm trying to show something on the screen to someone, They have to lean right in front of the screen in order to see it :P
Also, another pretty flippin' awesome thing is that it has 1:1 pixel mapping!!!!!!
So, it doesn't stretch 4:3 ratios to fit 16:10! So all those characters in your older games don't look like dwarves! You just have to deal with non-native resolution, which isn't too bad.
Actually you dont really need the monitor to be able to do that cuz the nvidia and ATI drivers can do that as well. Also, another pretty flippin' awesome thing is that it has 1:1 pixel mapping!!!!!!

They never worked for me. I tried on my 19" Samsung LCD and it was a no go. No matter what i did, everything was stretched. Their scaling thing was messed.
